The Apple Watch is largely a health and fitness device. Yes, you get notifications and you can answer a call on it if your iPhone is charging somewhere in the house and you are elsewhere or, if you have a cellular model, you can make phone calls on it without your phone, but still the primary benefits are for health and fitness. Of course having access to the time via haptic feedback can also be nice and so are complications about weather and home automation if you are into that technology. Chuck may find it efficient to type a message on the Apple Watch using Flicktype, I certainly do not and I wonder if they are 20 people in the world who do so on a regular bases, but to each their own 😊
