What series of Apple Watch is he giving you? If it is a series 2 then you’ll be
in for a frustrating experience and it may turn you off newer and faster
devices. My wife and I have both a series 2 which we bought in the fall of 2016
after it came out. For my wife who is sighted it’s not too bad, but I find when
Voiceover is running it’s incredibly slow and sluggish. The other day we went
for a long walk and wanted to record it and she had started the work-out in
about 5 seconds and it took me maybe 30 by the time I switched to the watch
face where I have the Workout complication, then when I tapped it, it took
forever to load and I actually had to press the digital crown once since it
just seemed to hang, then try again until it finally came up and I could select
the workout.
We both ordered the new series 5 watches now and I am very curious to see how
much nicer the experience will be.

Subject: Apple Watch tips

I never really wanted an Apple watch, still not sure. My son is getting the
new one and will give me his old one. I’m going to try it out. I’ll be using
it with Voice over. Any quick tips to get started would be appreciated to give
it a test run and see if I want to keep it. Thanks.
