I started out with the series one Apple Watch when they first came out. I didn’t think it was too bad until I got my series for about a year ago. The difference is night and day! It is so much faster and so much better. I got the Cellular model, so I can make calls and I don’t have to be tethered to my iPhone. I use my watch a lot, but there’s days that I leave it at home. As I said before, I’m kind of a gadget nuts so it’s one more toy in my toybox! But I probably should point out, I do not think there is anything that I can do on my Apple Watch, that I cannot do on my Apple phone. So it is a peripheral, but not necessary.
