I really look forward to the new series 5 watch my wife and I ordered, my series 2 is just so slow that it's frustrating to use it and I hate the fact that it so often simply locks on me while I am doing something, I press the digital crown and sometimes I have to do it 3 times because after I press it and Voiceover comes on I instantly hear the noise that it locked again, so fast that I don't even have time to move my finger from the digital crown to the screen or I swipe or tap and it suddenly just locks. I really hope this is fixed with newer hardware.

It got the job done, but the volume was not very loud, for someone with a hearing issue. I really only used it to track my health data and to check the time via Haptic Time. This means the time can be vibrated depending if you do 2 or 3 taps on the watch. A coworker sold me a Series 4 a couple of months ago, and the difference has totally been night and day. Series 4 with VoiceOver is so much more responsive and stable than the Series 2. I still use the Series 4 for health tracking and Haptic Time, but I am also able to turn the volume to a decent level for me to hear and receive notifications on the watch. I could probably live without one, but the Apple Watch has become a nice accessory, and one that can track my steps, heart rate, and other information too.
