I can understand that. I can use Bluetooth in my hearing aids, but might by a Bluetooth headset, because I could use my phone hands free. I do really like the headset and phone in my pocket. However, I know that it is virtually a thing of the past.
What I like about Bluetooth in my head set is, say I'm at Cracker Barrel, need to call cab. Turn on Bluetooth, VOILA, I can hear my phone.
