If you get the Voiceover clicks on your iPhone but hear no voice it means you have accidently muted Voiceover. This is different from completely unloading Voiceover with a triple click of the home button, Voiceover is still running, but speech is turned off. The gesture to toggle speech on/off is a double tap with 3 fingers. I would simply try/practice this:
1. Unlock your phone so you are on your home screen 2. Tap the screen twice with 3 fingers, Voiceover will say "Speech off" 3. Flick left and right a few times, you will hear the Voiceover clicks but no speech. 4. Tap the screen again twice with 3 fingers, Voiceover will say "Speech On" and all will be as it should be. If all else fails you can simply turn off Voiceover completely and turn it back on, this will also undo the speech off gesture. So, after turning speech off with a 3-finger double tap, press the home button 3 times or tell SIRI "Turn Voiceover off". Then repeat the triple press of the home button or tell SIRI "Turn Voiceover on" Voiceover will start up again and will speak as always.
