When the switch on the back is moved away from the batteries, it is on. The dial determines which channel you are pairing your device with. Just remember which position it is in when you want to use it. Of the two rectangular buttons hold the farthest right hand one down for several seconds while you are in the Bluetooth settings. Put the Voice over focus on where it says To Pair an apple watch. After about 5 or more seconds, the K480 should show up. Double tap on it and it should just connect. HTH,
