I am experiencing some strange volume issues on my iPhone 5 with VO as well. VO is loud enough, but not all numbers are spoken when I find them on the phone. Sometimes the numbers take a moment or two to be spoken by VO and other times they are spoken as soon as I touch them. I am also not hearing the touch tones when I press a number on the phone, after the call connects and goes through. I recall hearing the touch tones and the numbers being spoken all the time in iOS 5, but I've had trouble with this since I've been using the iPhone 5 with iOS 6. I've had the new phone for about 9 days and am still getting used to everything. I have used iOS 6 on an iPhone 4 and don't recall having these issues. The issues don't happen all the time, but they do happen often enough.
