Just so I understand, if you use iMessaging when connected to WiFi, you are not using any mobile data. This would only be used when not connected to WiFi. Am I correct on this? Marie

Of course if they use Instagram then they also use mobile data and probably a lot more than if they simply sent an iMessage especially if they first spend 5 minutes scrolling through everybody's latest posts and pictures. But it’s interesting the mind set of some people, My neaces wont use iMessage because they think it uses their mobile data so they have all turned it off and simply use sms on their iPhones, or they message friends using Instagram The android folks is no way to get around things But it’s interesting and yet concerning how these hackers / man in the middle type attacks are growing on / with mobile devices. Sounds important enough to ask, being that you are searching for a different messaging app. Donna I was considering trying some different messaging apps since there is another zero click effort going on. These reportedly have protections against zero click attacks and thought I'd ask here before going through the effort myself. The apps are: Threema Telegram Messenger Signal Not sure about using Telegram Messenger because of its storing everything in the cloud and I do not trust cloud storage very much though.
