Yes, I too have noticed this with the past few updates.  It only happens in the chat area of the app and makes having a detailed conversation with a shopper impossible.

As far as responsiveness goes, yes, sad, but true.  A few months ago I gave them a poor review specifically due to the deteriorating accessibility.  Ironically, one of the issues I mentioned, that of the correct number of stars being spoken when rating a delivery experience was corrected soon after that review.  I would like to think that tiny review had something to do with it, but I'm probably deluding myself.  <grin>
