Hi. I don’t use the chat feature on Instacart at all. I have them text me and we text back and forth. I can’t remember what I did to set that up though. I still have to explain each time I order that I am blind and can’t see the photos they send when they want to replace an item, but once I explain I get a text describing the item. It’s a little cumbersome, but it works.

I too used to report things that broke in relation to accessibility only to see them fixed in short order. However, this is no longer the case. I've been complaining about the replacement thing for a good 4 months to no avail. I've tried tweeting at them politely to perhaps reach someone directly responsible for app design to no avail.
