Yes, there are actually multiple apps which can turn a Sonos system into an intercom, but this is not what I meant. I was referring specifically to Alexa Drop-In which works between speakers like the Echo Dot, Show and so on, but I am pretty sure it still does not work via Sonos. For me Drop-In via Alexa is a better system because it doesn’t only work just when you are connected to your WiFi, I can sit in my office a mile away from my house and say “Alexa, drop in to living room” and it instantly connects me with our Alexa Show at home where I can then talk to my wife.
