Sieghard, Sonos still has no support for the Alexa Drop-in service. That is really sad.
And, as you may have seen, my later note on this intercom for Sonos app points out that the delay using this app is ridiculous at best. The Drop-in with Alexa makes it a true intercom that is without any delay that I’ve noticed. I was referring specifically to Alexa Drop-In which works between speakers like the Echo Dot, Show and so on, but I am pretty sure it still does not work via Sonos. For me Drop-In via Alexa is a better system because it doesn’t only work just when you are connected to your WiFi, I can sit in my office a mile away from my house and say “Alexa, drop in to living room” and it instantly connects me with our Alexa Show at home where I can then talk to my wife.
