Actually, the screen recognition didn’t work for me the first time I tried it either. However, since I have a credit union app that requires the same thing, in most cases, if I wait maybe 10 seconds or so after I invoke the screen recognition before trying to do anything with the app, it will work and read things for me. However, I absolutely do agree that this should be fixed, especially for such an important function with Apple.
