Yes, several of us have had this happen to us which fueled some discussion because some said this didn't happen to them and some said it did happen to them. I was one of those to whom it did happen and, like you, I had to connect to iTunes. i don't remember my settings being put back to factory defaults but maybe that happened too. It has also been reported to accessibility by several of us. So sorry you didn't see the warnings but glad you were able to connect to iTunes. This happened to some people who either couldn't immediately get to iTunes or didn't have a computer available or have issues with using iTunes (that mostly on Windows). It gives one a terrible feeling in the pit of one's stomach to reset your device and NOT hear that voice on which you depend or have your braille display come up!
