This is really useful, so thank you. I am learning German via Duo Lingo and one problem I have at the moment is that when Duo Lingo speaks a sentence it you you to repeat or interpret, Voiceover drowns it out.
So, in these cases, do I need to increase audio ducking or reduce it? Audio Ducking is to have media, like music, audio books, streaming, etc., lower their volume when VoiceOver is speaking. It can be off, set to When speaking, or always on. There is a new option in the Rotor Items setting called Ducking Amount which is a more direct way of saying that you want the other media to reduce its volume by x percent when VoiceOver speaks. You want Volume, Audio Ducking, and Ducking Amount on your rotor to make it possible to adjust on the fly.
