It’s early days for me, because I just got them up and running yesterday. I think there will be useful, more convenient than having to hold your phone all the time to look at things. But the meta-AI is clearly in my view at least, not as good as Be My Eyes or I should say be my AI. The text reading is abominable, in that it often doesn’t see any text. Be my AI much better in that respect. Some of this could be operator error, because as an always totally blind person, maybe I don’t look at things ““ in the correct way. But sometimes the reading is OK after a few tries. I think to be really useful for Reading of things, it has to have better language, so that you can really say look at the whatever it is I’m holding and read all of the text that you see. If that’s what you want of course. I have never gotten it to do that. Sometimes it talks about how it can’t do something about texting on the glasses. I forget exactly what it says, but I’m not asking anything about texting. The word text is in so many context, so that this AI needs to actually be more Eye than a. Some of the problem that it has doesn’t involve lighting. Because the glasses have no flash, if you’re in an environment that’s not light enough for it, it wax out. With the phone camera with its flash, it works better. The following is the instructions on how to reset the meta glasses off the internet: To reset Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses, follow these steps: Ensure the Glasses Are Powered On Confirm that the glasses are charged and turned on. Press and Hold the Power Button Locate the power button, usually on the right temple or inside the frame near the arm. Press and hold the power button for about 10 seconds. You should see the LED light flash during this time. Watch for the LED Indicator The LED light will change colors or flash in a specific pattern to indicate the reset process is happening. Typically, a solid white or flashing LED signals that the reset is complete. Reconnect to Your Device After resetting, you'll need to re-pair the glasses with your device. Open the Bluetooth settings on your phone, forget the device (if previously connected), and pair it again. Reinstall the Meta View App (Optional) If you're still experiencing issues, consider uninstalling and reinstalling the Meta View app on your phone before re-pairing. Good luck.
