When you open the app, on the first screen, near the top, there’s a row of icons. Notifications is one of those icons, next to user profile, which is the furthest to the right. Devices is up there too I think. Can’t remember now. Maybe if you don’t have any, it doesn’t show up that notifications icon. I just looked again, and mine now says One new. But I have no idea how to get rid of all the other ones that are still there which are not new. Mary
