I just tried this and it said I had 23 notifications. I should mention that I rarely use the Alexa app unless I am adding a new device or want to change the settings of something, but I agree that Amazon should implement a "Delete" rotor action here. I found as follows: I touch one of the notifications and if I swipe right it says "swipe left to delete the notification". This of course is what sighted people do, they swipe across the notification from he right side of the screen to the left side and a delete button pops up which they tap and that is it. After a bit of trial and error I found that I could delete the notifications by putting focus on one, then doing a double tap and hold on the right side of the screen and once I hear the little tone which indicates the pass-through I swipe all the way to the left of the screen. This reveals the Delete button for that notification and I found that if I swipe right immediately after the double tap and hold and swipe left, Voiceover puts focus on the delete button and I can double tap and it deletes the notification. I would say it took me about 2 to 3 seconds for the 3 gestures, double tap and hold a moment then swipe left, swipe right immediately to put focus on the delete button and double tap. All in all I was able to delete all 23 notifications in about a minute or a bit more, once or twice I had to repeat the set of gestures for a particular notification, but all in all it works. Once again, I totally agree you should be able to delete these notifications similarly to how you can delete a text message or email by swiping up or down to a delete option, but it is possible do do so now if you are able to complete the gestures I describe above. even though drag my finger across the screen to the left all the way to the left edge.

Notifications is one of those icons, next to user profile, which is the furthest to the right. Devices is up there too I think. Can’t remember now. Maybe if you don’t have any, it doesn’t show up that notifications icon. I just looked again, and mine now says One new. But I have no idea how to get rid of all the other ones that are still there which are not new.
