Hallo,
I made a wonderful discovery this afternoon. I should explain that I have
both English and Italian keyboards ticked on my phone. So I tried a little
experiment: Using the notes app, but I suspect this will work anywhere, I
switched the keyboard to Italian and then, using the dictation button,
proceeded to dictate in Italian. And it worked! I should explain that if I try
talking to Siri in Italian, I am simply not understood. So, it seems, the
important thing is to switch the keyboard to your language of choice.
