Hello, Heather. First, keep in mind that you can write Arabic as easily as you can English or any other language based on the Roman alphabet/keyboard. One can add keyboards as usual through general, international, keyboards. Yes, your friend should be able to dictate to Dragon which support several dialects. Note also that oo language pack should be needed for Arabic, whether on the phone or braille display as a braille display. One may, however need a language pack, if such a thing is available and possible, to use the display as a specialized note taker. That, of course has nothing to do with the iPhone. Aman
