Hello, everyone. I just purchased an iPhone 5 to replace my 3GS. If the phone is turned off, I can turn it on by simply plugging the charging cable into the phone's port. I don't have to press the "on/off" button, and I don't have to plug the other end of the charging cable into a power outlet. Do other iPhone 5s work this way? Needless to say, if I wish to run the phone on its battery, I use the traditional way of turning it on via the "on/off" button.
