Hey Kliphton, sorry about the spelling - that was a sloppy mistake on my part.
If you have the originals in .wav format I'd go with those--iTunes will help you convert them to a format of your choice. As Ricardo said, a 128 KBPS AAC file, say, will sound a lot better than a 128 KBPS MP3 file. I honestly have no idea what's going on with your MP3 files not being accepted, but as I say it could be anything--iTunes doesn't always let you know what the problem is.
