Rose, my first choice for listening pleasure would be human speech as well. If that isn't possible, then I'd rather use Samantha. I have the Read2go app from Bookshare.org but I don't like their voices. To many mispronounced words, and before I get an avalanche of replies, that's just my opinion. Since I have spent much time in doctor's offices and waiting rooms, hospital rooms labs etc, I certainly am looking forward to this app and yes, I have been considering either an iPod touch or iPad mini but so far I have not done either. I spend a lot of time reading Audible books while I wait am almost never with credits because of that and have a ton of NLS stuff I want to read but I don't want to carry a phone and a Stream with me, my purse is heavy enough with all the paper work, extra wallet, keys and other junk that gets dumped in there during my husband's hospital stays. Being able to put NLS on there would be nice.
