Maria, I charge my iPhone 5 nightly. On most days, it has anywhere from 50% to 60% of its charge remaining so I'll plug it into my computer's USB port while I'm working on the computer or watching TV before going to bed. I'll let it charge to 100% before turning in and will also back it up to my computer using iTunes and sync it as well. I know it is good to let the battery run down completely occasionally but I've not established a pattern for doing this so it's time to do it again.
