Hi Ricardo, Does this only happen on the iPhone 5? I am still using an iPhone4, so I was wondering if this problem is specific to the 5. May be this will be fixed in iOS 7 when it's release. I am waiting for the 5S, as I am noticing small inconsistencies on how my phone operates.

You would need to then move the phone away from your ear, thus putting the device on speaker phone.
