You could do this using the cloud, like iCloud, Ubuntu One, Google Drive
and so on, along with an editor that works with different cloud options
like Nebulus, Note Master and so on.

I use simple note which also works well. I'm not sure if the words
simple
note are written together or not. I think there's a paid and a free
version, but it's been so long since I got it that I'm not sure about
that
either. Anyway, you can add to a note over and over. I use it for all
sorts
of things like things to pack, or just ongoing information.
