Absolutely! I now have my payment on my account set to none and buy
e-cards for iTunes from
www.phonepal.co.uk
they support Paypal which is good and I like that. ANother way to avoid
using credit/debit cards is to pay with Paypal.

Yes, you can use PayPal with iTunes since that is what I'm doing. When
you
buy an app and such you will get purchase confirmation email messages
from
both Apple and PayPal. As far as your purchasing settings, try launching
iTunes then opening "Store" menu and pressing enter on "View Account."
You
will need your password (Listen closely to the message).
