Hi Robert, I think I can help you but you won't like it. I had something similar happen and called Apple Care. First, you need to plug your phone to your computer. Second, you need to press the home button along with the power button and hold for 30 seconds to a minute. It will talk to you when it is ready. You will be asked if you want to restore your phone which is what you want If you try to restore your phone without doing this, it will tell you that you need to turn off "Find my phone" in Settings which you can't get to because your phone is locked. if you have backed up your phone to your computer. That will restore your phone to what it was when you backed it up. Make sure you don't click on "Setup my phone as a new phone" When it is finished restoring, it will synch and all your apps will come back onto your phone.
If you don't have a backup, then you are S O L and you will definitely have to call Apple Care and I have no idea what they will do at that point. Ron & Danvers Falling down is part of LIFE... I can tell Siri to do things like call someone check messages and so forth, but to actually get to apps and things it will not let me do that. This afternoon, I got it to tell me that I needed to insert my pass code to unlock which I did enter, but it said it could not unlock the phone. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
