Hi, If you download a book from BARD Mobile, it unzips the book and downloads the book's authorization file automatically. This means you can then turn on Airplane mode, and the book will play. If you copy a book to BARD Mobile using iTunes file sharing, however, BARD Mobile needs to be able to go online and get the authorization file. Once it has it, you don't need to be online. So be sure you're online the first time you try to play a book after using iTunes file sharing.
