I think Brother makes some fairly inexpensive LaserJet printers that are airplay-capable. From what I read, they also take up a very small footprint. Whatever you do, I would recommend getting a LaserJet over an inkjet, as they are much less wasteful in regards to toner versus ink use. Also, laserjets print faster, and some of them can even do dual-sided printing.
