I'm not sure if this could have a effect on the described behaviour, but I wanted to let you know:
I just found out that our NT(BA)s are set-up somewhat special. Not the NT(BA)s themselves, more the way calls get routed to them. Imagine following scenario: We have 3 NT(BA)s. 2 reserved for telephone calls and a 3rd for the fax. The 2 telephone ones are grouped in a way to use the same number. If you'd call me on my MSN the telco decides on what NT(BA) the call arrives. It's either the first or the second. There's no way for me to influence that. The other way around no matter what NT(BA) my call goes out from it's always my MSN assigned to it. But then again, when I connect the first card-port to the presumably "standard" fax-NT(BA) the behaviour is the same... Don't get me wrong I'm not sure if this has anything to do with my problem, or any effect on Layer1 but the expressions desperate and going waco just became a whole new meaning... Don't you also think it's strange that I can only get a red indication for Layer1 active when I connect my old PBX and the 4S-card at the same time to the NT(BA)? Man, I love your work Daniele, that's for sure. But I really long for those days when making a phone call was mostly handled by a 16-year-old operator at the switch-desk. Of course the phone back then was at the post-office, not at home ;-) Why do I always seem to get interest in things I truely don't understand s*** of... _______________________________________________ Visdn-hackers mailing list [email protected] https://mailman.uli.it/mailman/listinfo/visdn-hackers
