Totally Not. I defer to Miguel these days since he actually works with the code. My job is to listen to what he says and update my presentations accordingly. :-) Good news: This all goes away in z/VM 5.2. You'll be able to specify subnet masks as the Master Network Architect intended and forget about this "subnet value" nonsense.
