I'm not sure if I'm hoping for "kind of free", as there isn't much usefulness in the IFL world (being a IP world over there) or expensive enough to eliminate it from consideration.
I still haven't got a bead on what Operations needs would be in Linux production and how to meet those needs. Dedicated consoles. Whole bunch of TN3270 sessions. Big plasma screens with multiple TN3270 sessions viewable. Some sort of software session manager. Some sort of hardware session manager. I want to leave my options open, but I also don't want to pay for items that I will end up not using.
