Vince, When you logon to OPERATOR (and in it's "PROFILE EXEC"), you may want to include the command: CP TERMINAL MODE VM
Can you cut and paste the messages you get when you logon to OPERATOR? That would really give us something to work with. By way of history, CMS has long had problems with breaking the file system on a minidisk when the disk fills up. It's VERY much better than it used to be, but can still cause problems on occasion. Our Operator is running in CP. When I try to IPL CMS to get it into CMS I get 191 full and so I can't get the Operator into CMS to do an erase. So I am guessing we need to backup 191 and reformat and restore all but the file I want to erase?
