Might you get what you need (he asks without bothering to look) from "CP 
QUERY TOKEN", or "PIPE STSI nnn | ..."?

Drats.  (sigh) No.  QUERY LPAR is dependent on information available to CP 

only when CP can perform dynamic I/O changes.  That's part of the 
architecture, not something CP controls.
