So that'd be a big nope. :) (And yes, the cluster size *is* insane. We have
Big Honkin' Disks around here, and USER01's not been reformatted ODS-5 yet)

Good question. I've actually got a perl tree and mod_perl shareable image
that built OK against the apache 1.3.9 beta kit that Compaq's distributing.
I don't know if it actually *works*, as I've not had a chance to properly
install and fire off the webserver, but...
If anyone wants to give it a shot, the perl kit you need is at
ftp://ftp.sidhe.org/apache_perl.zip, and the mod_perl image is at
ftp://ftp.sidhe.org/mod_perl.zip. I have no idea if it works properly--for
all I know it might exhibit the classic undefined behaviour and make demons
shoot out your nose, so you've been warned. :) (All I've done is RUN it to
verify that yes, it is actually an executable, but that's it)
