I'd like to add my own (smaller) woes to this thread.  I run the 
Hobbyist Alpha kit and I've been getting a consistent failure on one of 
the tests that are run prior to installation.  The Hobbyist kit is VMS 
7.2 with DEC C 6.0 and the make utility is the most recent version of 
MMK from MadGoat.

The tests continue for a while after the failure but eventually stop.  A 
few questions spring to mind.

1. What could be the cause of the failure at [.pod]find ?
2. Can anything be done to "fix" it ?
2. Are there more tests I should see, or is [.run]runenv the final test ?
