I'm having problems setting up Vnc to communicate with my SMC SMC7004BR
router.

I understand you have to configure the some settings on the "Virtual Server"
option on the SMC router. But I don't know exactly how.

I put 5900 as the Service Port and 192.168.123.145 as the Server IP and
click enable and I still can't connect to my system through VNC thats
connected through my router.

Also when you click the save button and it says the settings with take
affect after rebooting, does it mean after you reboot the computer or
router?

Do I use the LAN IP which is 192.168.123.254 as the Server IP or do I use
the 192.168.123.145 which is the IP the router assigns my system?

What I am trying to do is connect to my Windows NT system thats on my Smc
router, through my Windows XP system thats not on the router.

Can someone please help?
