Hi...

thanx for the response. In terms of the connection....

I am trying to connect through the Internet to my friends PC. His PC
is setup to share internet. He accesses the Internet through a modem
(which I could imagine is very slow to share) and the remaining
computers (5 computers) in the building use an Ethernet setup to
access the internet. This setup also allows them to share files and
printers. All the computers are using Windows 98 or Windows 98SE. I
hope that is enough information.

When I try get him to give me the IP address.... He says that the VNC
icon in the system tray shows 2 ip addresses. One is an External
address (e.g. 24.64.223.192) and one is an Internal address (e.g.
192.168.0.5). When displayed with VNC the numbers show as:

24.64.223.192,192.168.0.5

Now, I've tried to connect to the computer through his modem using
the external address but it does not make a connection. When I try
accessing his computer with the external & internal address... VNC
asks me if I typed the info in correctly...

any ideas...
