Hello, I have been using VNC for a year or so to connect to a workstation on my clients network from my remote office. My setup was using a Hughes Direcway satellite system model DW4000, a bidirectional link. Although there were issues of speed, overall the system worked well enough to be useful.
Recently I upgraded my Hughes system to the model DW6000 and I can no longer connect to the client workstation. When I launch VNC I get the connection dialog and enter the IP of the client machine. However, I never see a login prompt and it appears that VNC just exits silently. If I use a dialup connection then VNC still operates as before. Any help or pointers to fixing this issue would be greatly appreciated. Sid.
