Please excuse this repost, but I intelligently forgot to change the subject line to something meaningful, again.

The answer is trivial, to hide the app from visibility. It's just extrememly inconvenient, and I never remember, especially if I frequently swap between multiple VNC sessions and local apps. Furthermore, I began to realize that the cursor blinks for a reason....so that you can always immediately know where it is, expecially if your attention swaps between apps (locally and remotely), and between VNC sessions. A feature to stop screen updates can always be configured as a switch, like the sreen blanking time-outs today... Fred P.S. It got below -20C last night (forgot how much below). The wind chill probably made it close to -30C. Cool, eh? Good time to stay at home and use VNC. -- Fred Ma, [EMAIL PROTECTED] Carleton University, Dept. of Electronics 1125 Colonel By Drive, Ottawa, Ontario Canada, K1S 5B6 _______________________________________________ VNC-List mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.realvnc.com/mailman/listinfo/vnc-list
