I have had the same problem with tightvnc. I had to go under the firewall
and add vnc so it was allowed or it will ask you about it when you start
the server side. I also had it reset the password back to the old password
too after install of SP2. I have it running on 4 xp machines with SP2 on
them. I just did the 4th one today.

VNC Vs. XP Service Pack 2

Hi,
I was happily VNC'ing along when until I installed XP SP2 on the server
machine. Now I cannot connect to it at all! I tried reinstalling VNC,
but that did not work. Is it just me or has anyone else had this issue?
The computer in question is running XP Home, if that matters.
