I saw someone using realvnc for this exact thing. The client simply downloaded and ran a standalone exe file which automatically connected to the "server". I came to this site looking for it but couldn't find anything. The standalone was somehow made by http://www.planits.com/support.shtml .

Anyways, a bit more searching located a vnc that actually could do this using a modification of ultravnc.

I just followed the instructions and 15 minutes later I had it all set up and working. Still need to get the encryption sorted out though.

Hallo to all subscribers.
Here's my question: I'd need to view on my PC (running VNC Server, with
static IP), a window with the desktop of the PC wich is calling me (running
VNC viewer, with dinamic IP), so I can't operate in the PC of my customer
under his supervision and in total security.
I know that it's possible 'cause I saw this solutions working good (a PC
client called the server, and on the server automatically opened a windows
showing the desktop of the client), sometimes ago.
Anyone could know the solution of this problem???

Bye bye
