You are correct, and thats why I'm very confused of the claims being made.
Any chance someone has or could capture one of the packets and forward it to
me?  The only signifigance I see to 1028 is that it's one of the first ports
that the OS will use when it's asked to pick a port.  But it wasn't clear
from the posts if 1028 was the originating or destination port, also the
payload would be very usefull to track this down (my guess is that it's a
dns query or netbios name query).
