Well I opened up port 1028 this Morning and still no change! I still cannot get email through to msn or telnet there server. Opening it up on our border router gave allowed us to telnet to the greeting. Still trying to work out whether the port is being opened by us or by the remote side. My syslog server which is configured to log all blocked packets is not showing any 1028 UDP blocks which is strange. I am also dubious as to why it is needed. But it must have some significance.
