* This is the vopmailbeta mailing list *
We use most of the Vircom products, including VOPMail and ModusMail. I don't want to become involved in a flamefest either (as someone stated earlier) and I'm not going to even take a side in this issue. My only point here is that this list is for peer support of product, not for discussion of personal grievances, perceived or real. Private correspondence between any particular Vircom employee and any list member should remain just that, PRIVATE, and bringing it up in this list (even without disclosure) shows poor judgement at best. As a few of Vircom's people know I've had occasion to state some frank views with them but I've done it where it belonged, directly with them and not cluttering up the lists. As with any other business, Vircom's model changes and grows, had our business not done the same years ago we would still probably be running some Worldgroup MUD BBS, but we changed. When we shut down our BBS it really ticked off our MUD'ers but we changed from being a hobby BBS into a viable ISP, and as I like to tell people, I now drive bigger cars and take better vacations! I was not about to remain stuck in yesterdays stuff, we changed, we grew and we prospered. In business that is what you do because if you don't you get stuck in a rut like a lot of people that I knew years ago in the old Gcomm forums. If Vircom moved into manufacturing garage doors tomorrow and out of software that is their privilege, if anyone decides not to buy from Vircom that is their privilege. Right now, Vircom software and our ISP work well together. That may change next year or next month, hell, the world could turn into a bran muffin overnight tonight. That's the way things go. Let's get this forum back to helping one another where it should be. MikeH ---- Instant sex will never be better than the kind you have to peel and cook. Seems that everybody here could benefit from some Vircom communication or is that not company policy? ** To leave this list, send an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] and put the word "LEAVE" in the BODY of the email.
