Hi Frank, The date has just been set as October 3rd and 4th. As you know Frank, this is an outgrowth of another group that had its time but since faded away. The need for a peering conference has not gone away, it has become more intense as we independent ISP's face greater and greater challenges, not just from competition but from spammers who are challenging our resources, companies like SBC who are challenging even our right to exist using their facilities and more. We desparately need a unified voice. The originating Peercon coordinators/working group consists of Cary Fitch, Ken Sukimoto, Brad Farrell and yours truly. What: Peercon peering confernece When: October 3rd and 4th (both all day sessions) Where: Orleans Hotel, Las Vegas The Peercon website isn't quite ready for public viewing yet as some of my graphics blunders are staring the world in the face and they need to be cleanup up and some content added before its ready for prime time. I'll be in Vegas in early October. Frank M.
