Mike, One of the best anti-spam measures I've ever taken was to install SpamAssassin on my relay server. To give you an idea, SpamAssassin has already climbed from 0% to 4,49% of all sieve blocked spam in less than 2 months. The rest of the statistics is almost 2 years old. \Local\Received 13,40% \Patterns\Header\Strong 12,23% \Local\Remocao 9,46% \Patterns\Known\Strong 5,25% \Patterns\Known04\Strong 4,54% \Local\Diversos 4,51% \Local\Spamassassin 4,49% \Patterns\Known02\Strong 2,27% \Patterns\Known06\Strong 2,18% \Patterns\Known03\Strong 2,16% What I do is to make SpamAssassin tag messages as spam and let sieve trap it, unifying the quarantine. If I was not running modus, I could just have SpamAssassin kill the spam or quarantine it. In my case, SpamAssassin runs under amavisd-new on a RedHat Linux box with sendmail 8.12.9. However, a few people have been able to configure it to run as a VOP/modusMail agent. amavisd-new: http://www.ijs.si/software/amavisd/ SpamAssassin: http://www.spamassassin.org/ -- Luiz Lima Image Link Internet http://www.imagelink.com.br ** To leave this list, send an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] and put the word "LEAVE" in the BODY of the email.
