Howdy Richard,

I think Republican Senator David Vitter said it best, as recently quoted on 
CNN.COM:

"I don't believe there's any issue that's more important than this one."

Was he urging congress to discuss plans on how to improve our nation's Energy 
supply? No.

Was he urging debate on finding solutions to the thorny Illegal emigration 
issue? No.

Was he urging debate on Terrorism and the collection of intelligence against 
U.S. citizens? No. Of course not.

He was urging congress to pass a constitutional amendment to ban same sex 
marriages. Yes, indeedee, THAT'S what we reeeelly need in this country to make 
things right again.

And, oh yes, don't forget that other amendment - to ban flag burning as well!

Our government working tirelessly to make things better for its citizens.

What a gas.
